The Late Turner Exhibition, Tate Britain
Running now until 15th January if ever there was an exhibition to see then this has to be the one. Love Turner then see pop in to the Tate and some real Turner treats.
The exhibition brings together a carefully curated series of Turner’s later work that he started when he turned 60 and at the peak of his career. Many of the works have never previously been exhibited in Britain before so it’s a real homecoming to one of Britain’s best loved artists
And it’s not just about the art. A good pair of glasses is essential for the over 60’s. You can see Turner’s glasses and even his oil pallet, still with paint on. Tips for budding artist on how to mix their colours.
And so, what do the critics say
‘An Exciting, entrancing show.’ ‘Prepare to be dazzled.’
