Sheffield’s Park Hill hosts Contemporary Art Exhibition
Five leading contemporary Sheffield artists will be showcasing their works from a former pub The Scottish Queen based within Park Hill, in an art exhibition entitled ‘Overlooked.’The exhibition which opens on Saturday 18th April and runs for 3 weeks, is the inaugural exhibition of a 12 months arts programme to be based at the former pub. ‘Overlooked’ will feature works from Sheffield based artists Andy Cropper. Mandy Payne, Conor Rogers, Jane Walker and Sean Williams. The exhibition will have a strong focus on overlooked inner city spaces.
We can’t wait to see it. Come along to the opening night on Saturday 18th April and meet the artists over a tasty pint of Thornbridge beer and hear what they have to say about seeing their works in the surrounding that they depict.
